Would you like to join the Animal Lifeline UK team?

Animal Lifeline UK is a very busy, and rapidly-growing, organisation juggling and co-ordinating rescue efforts every single day of the year.

It relies on an incredibly dedicated team of staff members and helpers who work tirelessly to save the lives of animals in danger.

If you feel you have the passion and motivation to get involved we would love to hear from you.

    How You Can Help

We are always need in need of volunteers who can do any of the following:

    • Moderate the forum:
      • Answer queries and reply to threads
      • Ensure information is kept up-to-date
      • Welcome new members and assist them in finding their way around the website
      • Help establish and maintain a supportive community

    • Write articles and share other relevant information on our website
    • Help cross-post details of animals in rescues onto our forum, and share onto our Facebook and Twitter pages, helping rescues to re-home their animals and free up much needed rescue spaces
    • Become a Foster Co-ordinator
    • These volunteers arrange home checks for potential foster carers and liaise with rescues to identify suitable fosterers for specific animals

    • Become a Transport Co-ordinator
    • These volunteers arrange transport for animals to rescue placements or foster homes

    • Contact rescues to find placements for pound dogs and other animals in urgent need of help
    • Help with our 'Adoption Match-Up Service' to pair people looking for a pet to those in rescue
    • Go through classified ads; contact people wanting to adopt an animal to see if they would adopt from a rescue instead
    • Co-ordinate fund raising efforts to secure much-needed finance to enable us to help more animals and become a registered charity
    • Raise awareness of our work and recruit new volunteers willing to help with urgent cases (home checks, transport, fostering, e.t.c.)
      • We need your help
