If I could I certainly would, however I still don't have any transport until at least March. Anyone needing help after then would be fine. I will post when I'm finally back on the road. Sorry I can't help on this occasion.

I have PMd Cherry - suggesting I pick dog up at Hilton Servicce J11 of M6 southbound if poss - rather than someone drive past me to get to Bham?

Mattie
1st January 2011, 03:38 PM
Thanks Carolyn, Cherry will be transporting from the kennels to you so you will meet her, she is lovely.

It is thanks to people like you that we can save so many dogs, without transporters we couldn't get the dogs to safety.

:afraid: He's not MY other half!!!!!!!!!

Finally arrived home after 9 hours (less 1 hour for lunch!) - Holly was apparently well settled before we got back!

'My other half' has just suggested I explain why we took 9 hours to do 200 mile round trip - M5 was shut (and still is 5 hours later) - so had to do mega detour along with about 5000 other people.

At least Holly is safe. She is a lovely dog (was tempted to dognap her!)

I am so sorry you had a bad journey, you are a star for doing this, it was a long way for 1 person anyway without that.

This was quite a long run from Oswaldtwiste and was done by 3 transporters, it is thanks to them that Holly is safe in rescue.
