Brook is 3 year old collie x. A typical collie who is very playful and full of energy. He would make a superb agility dog an overall lovely chap. Brook is house trained, lead trained and non destructive in the home.

However..........due to Brook's past he would need to live in a home with no children. (not his fault!)

Brook would also benefit with being an only dog. (Happen that's cos he is so fantastic that you would not need another dog!).

Brook is in desperate need of a home as he has been with us for so long. Please consider this fantastic dog, he would make a fantastic pet/companion.

Brook is a great dog, he is good on the lead with endless energy. This chap is just great to have around.

Brook also knows sit and if you have a treat he will also give paw but he is clever and will not give paw for no reason!

Took some new photos of Brook yesterday and hoping you can all see the loving and beautiful dog Brook is when he is out of his kennel:

If anyone is wanting a really clever companion who is house trained and the most obedient dog ever, then they should give Brooklyn a look.. He is loyal and a great dog to have around. He seemed lively in the kennels but in the house he is very well behaved and relaxed. He is a great dog......

but he is still with us bless him. He is now our longest resident, he so deserves a home. :adoptdog:

So many views on this lovely lad but still no home? Shame someone can't give him a chance, bet his dislike of kids is because some little sods /kids were cruel to him and he's that intelligent he remembers that the little humans are the ones not to trust.
Really hope someone sees beyond this and teaches him that he can trust again.

He is a gorgeous neutered collie cross who came to us as a young dog and desperately needs to find that very special home.

He walks brilliantly on an extension lead without pulling, loves his exercise and is an intelligent dog who would thrive on training. He is athletic and would need a good secure garden. He would be better as an only dog and Brooke does not like children; we believe this is due to experiences when he was a young dog. It is such a shame for him as he is great with adults and we really hope he is not destined to spend his whole life at the kennels.
