Name: Baldur, Heimdall and Loki
Age:1 year approx, Heimdall is slightly older at our guess.
Breed: Rat, all top ear
Sex:Male
Colour/Pattern: Black Hooded, Blue and Agouti
neutered: No
Fully vaccinated: N/A
micro chipped: N/A
de fled: N/A
Do they have any behaviour problems: These boys are all nervous of handling. Initially they did bite, which we assessed to be through fear and have since not done so.
Do they have any medical problems: None
Reason for coming to Rescue: We offered rescue space for the guys from Animals in Need
Are they used to children: N/A
if so what age:
Are they an indoor or outdoor pet.(are they used to living outside or indoors) Indoor
Type of housing that would be required: Cage should be at least 80 cm x 50 cm x 80cm for three rats.
Period of time they can be left alone? N/A
What type of home are you looking for? Experienced home only. These boys 'may' benefit from being introduced to other more confident bucks, however Baldur displays quite dominant behaviour to other rats which, although we believe he does not need to be neutered, will make introductions tricky. These boys can stay as a trio and we believe they will come round with time and patience.
Donation required: Some donation required, we do not set a minimum.

Loki has just started taking treats from us which is a good improvement for him. Heimdall now comes to the door to see if we have any, we think he will make a good shoulder rat. Baldur remains the middle rat, but all three are making good progress. Still best suited for experience only as their rehabilitation will take time and patience.

As said before, boys are making good, albeit slow progress. We've dubbed them the three bears :)

Daddy bear Heimdall:-

Middle bear Baldur:-

And baby bear Loki still currently opting for the 'frozen' approach to people:-

These boys are making good progress and can be held, or happy to sit on shoulders. Loki remains stand offish and may never be a cuddle monster. Sadly these boys have had no interest at all.

Loki came all the way to the door for his treat today and we even caught him sleeping on a hammock

Still looking x
