This poor chap is ex breeding stock has always been kept alone outside in a cage/run, my friend took him on to give him a go as previous owner had to go into temporary housing and couldnt take him. its not working out he keeps beating up her other cats.He is supposed to be a full maine coon and is 6yrs old he is neutered and seems very timid but my friend can brush him and stroke him with no problems he just doesnt seem to tolerate other cats or being picked up.He is long haired and blue in colour. This is desperate so if anyone can help would be very gratefull Thankyou.Attached his pics

He doesn't like other cats he really beats them up also i doubt he has seen a dog or much else for that matter as he was kept outside in a breeding run/cage and is extremely timid so would need alot of work and a nice quiet home.He was fine with our daughter but she is sensible and very bright and listens when told not to pick up a certain pet/cat, he was sleeping on her bed with her and she was stroking him and he was only here a few days.My friend took him on to try him out and as i said it hasnt worked out he just wont stop beating up her other cats.

As he is an ex stud cat and used to living in a pen it will probably take him longer to adjust to home life and he would probably be better being an only pet. I have given you my number if it doesn't work out at your friends and you would like my help to find a rescue placement with the knowledge of his breed and who would be better at finding the most suitable home for him.

This little man will be going to Patsy at Rushden Persian Rescue as soon as she has a space for him.We will be putting up a transport request soon to get him to me in south Oxfordshire so I can get him to Patsy as soon as she has a space so please keep an eye on the transport section to help this little man get to rescue and get the specialist care that he really needs. :thanks:

I removed both a female (Tia) from her flat yesterday male (scooby) today, due to the fact she is never home she doesnt leave me enough food or litter for them or any money so fundamentally im paying for them.she will be upset when she realises i have no intention of returning her female cat Tia.Tia will also need rehoming she is around 1yrs old they get on with each other which is really strange as he doesnt tolerate any other cats.Tia is a maine coon x and is a mackeral tabby.
