I've just got my second foster in from LDR and she's adorable. Here's a couple of pics of the little darling.

Smartie has to be the smallest JR terrier I ever seen.

Awww what a sweetie

How old is she?

16th November 2009, 08:46 PM
They think she's 4-5 years and is an ex breeding bitch. She was very smelly when she got here and her nails were very long. She hasn't got a clue how to be a dog, but she does have the sweetest nature. Very calm and brilliant with the kids just rolls right over in submission. We're just working on her confidence at the moment, soon she'll be doing that for a tummy tickle. As soon as she's been spayed I'll be back up for having another little one in.

How is she getting on with zeus? He was a wonderful teacher for Tizzy so I'm sure he'll be the same for Smartie

Zeus is doing his job really well she's much more confident walking with him besides her. He's already got her going to the toilet out side. She thought on the second night that she could get away with barking until Zeus told her otherwise. He's now attempting to teach her to play but she just isn't getting it, she'll pick toys/balls up but then just looks clueless as what to do next. To be honest I think he was born to look after the foster dogs, he's so acepting and understanding with them. He makes my heart swell with pride. :hearts:

Thanks guys a little update.

Smartie has been to the vets this weeks for her Vacs and a health check. She needs her teeth cleaning but apart from that nothing else wrong with her. She was perfect with the vet she let him check her over with no fuss what so ever. She didn't even flinch when she has her injection. She got her own back in the waiting room by weeing on the floor :lool: She also saw 3 other dogs while we were there a black lab which she instantly wanted to play with. Also a springer spaniel and a golden retriever who she really swooned over. Her confidence is building day by day and she's coming along really well. The OH has really fallen in love with her, but I have no intentions in failing. Although she is very lovely. :lovesign:

I have the great pleasure to report that Smartie went to her new home on new years eve. So new year new start for Smartie. I have to say looks like she's going to be well spoilt, the couple live in Dorset and there house backs onto farmland. She has another doggie pal and such a lovely couple, I couldn't be happier for her.
