Homing Requirements: Dixie is a proper dog and needs a family who really want a dog central to their lives and family activities. Might settle with a dog friendly cat, but unassessed for cats and small furries. Dixie loves meeting dogs and is quite playful so needs guidance as not everyone wants a enthusiastic Staffie cross playing with their dogs. Dixie might live with the 'right' other dog.

Her Story: Dixie arrived stray with a collar on which had "Dixie" written on the inside. She looks like she has had puppies. No one reclaimed her and we agreed to take her on. Dixie is now neutered, chipped and vax'd. Dixie is in foster in Guildford, Surrey as an only dog.

Advert: Dixie is fun; an enthusiastic dog who wears her heart on her sleeve. She meets dogs well, is keen on her walks and can pull but settles and some families may wish to use a halti or gentle leader. Dixie relaxes in a home, settles and positively 'lounges'.

Dixie is around 4 years old, a black Labrador x Staffie with a kindness and love for humans which wins her friends wherever she goes. Dixie has jazz in her DNA and seems to have a vibrance and joy about her. She needs a fair sized secure garden and part time working hours at most as she so enjoys companionship.

Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
