Homing Requirements: Atlas is an easy medium sized dog who is great fun for a committed rescue minded family. Atlas is emotionally needy so this needs to be considered as his heart is huge and rests on his sleeve. Atlas needs an inclusive family role, not shut out but integral to family activities and company.

His Story: Atlas was found stray, chipped & neutered but his owner was not contactable. We have commenced vaccinations and he is on a light diet. Atlas is currently in boarding kennels near Gatwick, West Sussex.

Advert: Atlas carries the world on his shoulders ... yes he is concerned in rescue, but could you lighten his load? A very, very special dog who will be loved by everyone he meets ... such a big hit in our rescue. Atlas is skilled, playful, calm and would be great with children, people, visitors and other dogs. He is G R E A T!

Atlas is a Ridgeback X ?Staffie. He has the deep red colouring of the Ridgeback and the back markings. Atlas has the smiley, tender loving Staffie nature beaming through his eyes and disposition. Yes he could be for a first time dog owners, but we are looking for commitment as he needs his family to stand solid for him and he'll never leave your side.

Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
