Disgraceful and if they are not prosecuted then it shows what an ass the law really is!

Re: If the police won't learn - what hope have do we have?

Subject: Police officers ought to be punished for this suffering

We urge all rescues in the UK to write to the Chief Constable of Nottinghamshire Constabulary to formally complain that action is not being taken against Police Officers who left 2 German Shepherds in the back of their van outside Police Headquarters to 'boil to death' this week

Apparently the Police reffered the matter and the IPCC have refused to do anything about the appalling act of cruelty

Please write and not email and include on rescue letter headed notepaper to make most impact (as emails an be mislaid)

*Please also copy your letter to the RSPCA and also the Independant Police Complaints Commission details as attached

    *sample letter attached if required

    General Enquiries Police
    Main switchboard - 0115 967 0999

    In writing
Police Headquarters, Sherwood Lodge, Arnold, Nottingham NG5 8PP

RSPCA Enquiries Service, Wilberforce Way, Southwater, Horsham, West Sussex RH13 9RS.

If anyone would like a copy of the sample letter pm me your email address and I'll forward it on toyou
